I’ve had a surprisingly large number of requests from people who would like to donate to help keep The HeliGeek Blog up and running. I’m flattered and touched by the generosity! I have historically declined to accept any donations for this site, but I’ve been hounded by some of my readers. Sponsors, advertisers, and manufacturers…

So far, with the HeliGeek’s blog I’ve been doing reviews and articles on items that I’ve purchased with my own funds, with a few notable exceptions (thanks HeliDirect/Outrage RC!!!). I’ve invested not only a lot of time, but also a lot of money in my hobby. I’m really not in this to make any money, but I’ve come to the realization that my bank account can’t keep this up forever. So, now that I’e moved the blog to my own site, I’m able to accept paid advertising, not to make buckets of money, but rather to help defray the costs associated with bringing my reviews and articles to you. If I choose to do so, I hope my readers will understand and will continue to follow my musings. Rest assured that my reviews will be fair and honest, no matter who may be an advertiser or sponsor.
