This blog is meant to be more of a personal journal of progress on my way to becoming a respectably good RC pilot. It’s my hope that along the way I may stumble upon some bits of wisdom that may be of use to others. To that end, I’ve decided to share this journal via the ‘net, rather than keep it all to myself.

Don’t expect to be entertained all the time. I don’t get to fly nearly as often as I’d like, and when I’m not flying I like to put in some time on the sim. Kinda boring stuff, that. Occasionally, I’ll include some anecdotes of things that happen at the field or things I’ve learned along the way. Since I’m a gadget freak, I’ll be including small mini-writeups on some of the new devices I find and play with. More in-depth reviews will be reserved for posting on the web forum I maintain for my local RC club, the Suburban RC Flyers (see side board for links).

In any case, feel free to comment on any of my posts. Ask questions, leave advice etc… I’m always on the lookout for new wisdom, and I’m always looking for new friends in the hobby.
