If your using a belt to drive the tail, static will build up which causes the tail gyro to act goofy.

Thanks for the kind words and sorry for the delayed response. I've not heard of an issue with the baffles blowing out of the outrage pipes since the original Hyper-Rage .50 pipes that Outrage addressed, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. Sorry to hear yours took out the motor. Oy!

Glad to hear it's helped. Since it's been a while since you posted originally, I hope you've done well with the Copter-X heli. I've heard that the hardware on most clones leaves something to be desired. I know I started out with an MX-450 and the hardware on it sucked.

The Tail Blade movement has not made any noticable difference to the tail rotor responce from what I can tell, even under hard aggrivation and ballistick piros htis tail is a rock "running with a JR 770 and a InoLab 261 servo although it will be put too the True "Max'd Out" conditions as a well known Pilot in my parts called Hammish whos dad runs our favorite hobby shop 'FlyIn Hobbies' in Adelaide is possiibly coming down to my local park on the Easter W-end and by then I would have put on the JR 8717 servo to match the Gyro and from what I'm told it's going to ramp up the piro rate even more! so if the tails gong to give us any problems I think this will be the "moment"
This servo is gong on because I have recieved a Beam E4 and the 8717 is to big and nasty for this little helicopter.

Hey Jeff,

I'm just getting into this hobby after having played around with a cheap fixed pitch coax and just got myself a CopterX 450 (T-Rex clone). Been going through pre-flight education and this glossary has been just amazing at helping me understand all the jargon. Atleast now I'm on the same page as all other rc heli hobbyists.

Thanks a bunch!
